We are dedicated to rebuilding foos in Houston and beyond. We will be having events at two locations; 3 nights a week. All start times will be strictly enforced and recalls will be given.
Tuesday night will be for anyone who wants to attend. We will give a clinic, have pick up matches and a practice session. Our goal here is to promote new players as well as fine tune the talent we have. This will be oriented towards the lower rated players. We will have at least 2 to 3 pro's here to help and work with anyone who wants to attend. Other pro's will be invited to help out. 7:00PM start
Thursday night will be an open draw. Sign ups to start at 7:00PM. Sign ups close at 7:45 sharp and first match will be called at 8:00PM.
Saturday night will be an open draw. Again Sign ups will start at 7:00PM. Close at 7:45PM and matches will be called at 8:00PM
Once a month we will have a Super Saturday, multi-event with higher pay outs as it was several years back in the peak of Houston Foos. We will have split brackets, pro seeded draws, no two pro's and bring your partners periodically threw out the year. We will be having the fight for the cash as it was when it was first introduced a month or two ago. This event will have qualifiers at multiple locations, including Show Downs, working with Tracy Lou and possibly other locations over the greater Houston area. We will have events to help new players and to help those with more experience.
We have also spoken to promoters throughout Texas in an attempt to work together to promote state events. We intend to work with all promoters to reach our goals.
We will have two major tournaments a year of $5000.00 are larger. The format for these will be designed to maximize pay out and to minimize conflicts so that we can stay on schedule.
We are very excited about the future of Foos in Houston. We hope you will all join us and support the game we all love so much.
