It is our goal to provide the best possible location and best possible atmosphere to grow the sport foosball in and around the Houston area. We want to attract all the players we have lost over the last several years, along with attracting as many new players as we can. We are committed to running a professional and fun tournament. Tournaments will start on time, matches will be called and the tournament will be run with the goal of completing the tournament on time. Recalls will be in effect. Match cards will be signed as soon as the match is finished. Rules of conduct will be strictly enforced.
We have searched and found two locations that are perfect for our needs. They are both very nice locations. The managers are on board with our goal of promoting the sport. They are excited to have us and will be making an exceptional kick in on a regular basis. Both locations are located in very accessible locations. Both are nation wide establishments. They are very clean and have a great atmosphere.
We have up to date brand new tables to play on and they will be maintained with the utmost care.
We have been paying attention to the Houston foosball issues of late…as most of these have been made public to the foosball world. We have a good idea of what needs to be done and feel that it is time for us to step up and help correct these problems. Foosball has been a positive influence in our lives and it is time we gave back. Over the past 3 months, we have been working very hard to put this together. FOOS, INC. is a legal corporation formed by a group of Houston players. Players who have been involved in the sport for more than 20 years each. We are players who have complained and griped about how things have been run in the Houston area for more than just the months since Mike passed. Even prior to losing him, foos in Houston was declining. Players had stopped playing and the dedication of others has fallen off. It is our goal to change this and rebuild a strong player base. A player base who wants nothing more than to play foos and have fun.
We look forward to a strong and successful future of Foos in Houston and the surrounding areas.
