Thanks to all the guys who've been showing up Thursday nights at Brendan's!
As you probably know, we've been playing at our most gracious host Brendan's place 6 blocks from Bud Murphy's for what, three years now? It's been like a weekly guest feature the last couple of months..
Paul Slade showed up at Brendan's last Thurs nite, playing with GB, Brendan, Dave Lewis, Eric Hartmann, Big Joe, and myself. It's like the tournament foosers are taking turns... Tony Matani showed up the other Thursday, and Craig Edwards showed the Thursday before that. And I think Mark Winker actually showed up the Thursday before that, also to get some parts from Brendan for Mark's table.
Henry & Liz, Dr. Jeff & Grace, Stone-cold Steve McKiernan, Craig Edwards, Cheryl & Jeff Kobal, & Brian Costello have all showed up at one time or another. Too bad they don't often enough all show up together sometimes... Would be great, because we always draw for mini-DYPs, and a second one sometimes.. So who will it be next Thursday? Dave Lee with Sheila? Skender?
The regulars may not be as experienced, but Ray Adams, Dave Lewis, GB and JT and Brendan, sometimes Eric & Joe, have no fear... That's what competitive foos is all about. CYA there! Maybe you can show Brendan and JT how to REALLY play Robotron or Galaga 88 or Defender.  |
