Robot foosball

Who hasn't had this idea?!

I came across this senior design project from GA Tech where a group of EE's designed an autonomous foosball control system.

It has some mechanical shortcomings, but the electrical side is on point. It would be interesting to see what could be achieved with a more powerful drive system. I'd give the guys an 'A', or well, 'A-' for not using a Tornado table.

Maybe next semester a new team will take over. Let's see some networked foosball matches where your moves are picked up and translated onto your opponents foosball table many miles away

Yeah I think the Germans made on the was pretty sweet too. Thats the ultimate practice tool right there.
