Alright guys and gals, December is here and it's time to start planning for the Foosfest in J-ville. It falls on the last weekend of the year, right between Christmas and New Years Eve, December 28 and 29.
We need to know who's definitely coming, who's thinking about it, and who's playing with whom (so the smack-talk can begin!!!).

The replies WILL DIRECTLY IMPACT THE NUMBER OF TABLES WE HAVE ON HAND, so let us know what you're planning.

Remember, this tourney is also BOTH a fundraiser for our local domestic violence shelter AND the kick-off event for our local players association mebership drive so come out and support Jacksonville foosball!!!!!

Well, we're starting to see some activity here, but what about our local foosers? Let's hear from the J-ville players too!

BTW, all listed payouts are GUARANTEED. I hope all you slackers don't let Mark and I fight it out over the cash all by ourselves!

Hugh,

I might come play, but I need to know what time I can get out of there at night. Are you running charts until 2 or will stop certain events at midnight????? Help a cracker out!

Hey Paul,

We have two scheduled events and one specialty (if time allows) event each day. Friday night we'll run until midnight or 1:00, Saturday we'll run until we're done.

Keep the responses coming, we've got three Tornado tables and three more lined up in reserve. I'd REALLY like to need all three backups!

Hey guys and gals,

So far, I've got Amigo and Paul L wondering if the south and central FL foosers are gonna give us any competition.

What've you guys got to say? Anyone coming up to J-ville to end the year right?

You have a player from belgium that shoots euro coming from south florida. He plays tornado, but he told me bonzini is the table for him.

Well, does his name start with Fred and end in rico? I didn't know there was any Bonzin guys down there. Has he come to any of the tournaments Tyler promoted?

Are there any Tornado players coming up? Because I play Bonzini but Tornado is the table for me~

It isn't Frederico, but Pascal's game on Tornado is really coming along well =). He normally plays on a Jupiter foosball table in Belgium, but I imagine he'll feel at home on the Bonzini pretty quickly.

As for others coming on up from South Florida, I think there may be a decent amount of players making the trip. I'm not sure if all these players are going, but they all mentioned that they are trying to make it happen: Jeff M and Grace, John H & Jen B, Jeff K & Cheryl, Pascal L, and Mark W (there may be more too).

See you soon!

Paul,

I'll be passing through on Dec. 29th. I'm going to drop off some Bonzini U.S.A. items to be passed out at the tournament and take a look at the UBC Bonzini tables. I'll try to get back down to UBC sometime in January to upgrade those tables to I.T.S.F. specs. I think you'll like the flat sided foot and leg levelers. I'll give the tables a tune-up prior to the DYP event.

How many players are they expecting for this events? I want to bring enough stuff to pass out.

I'll have a few samples of the new Bonzini I.T.S.F. ball on hand for players to try out.

Looking forward to seeing you, Amigo, Rory, Hugh and Cara.

Have a great Christmas Holiday Very Happy

Alan
