Hi Micah,

Still on the drawing board and thanks for the reminder =). It is funny that you brought this up as today I was getting some stats from the year and your name came up in the #1 money winner spot =). The reason why I saw that was that the stat I was trying to figure out (for potential sponsors) was how much prize money was given out this year so far by the featured accounts -- it was over $150,000 (1/1/2007 through 10/22/2007).

Yeah this does sound like a good idea. On a somewhat related note, would there ever be a point at which the IRS had something to say about this matter? $150,000 is a decent chunk of money.Just a thought.

Guys,

I agree with Chris about wondering about these payouts, especially when the bar or other sponsoring venue is matching or adding to the pot.

Don't we have to follow the same guidelines as the lottery or casino & poker clubs? Anything over $400 has to be declared and accounted for? I'm not worried about anyone's or any city's weekly tournaments, but as they start consolidating under Netfoos or USAFoos or Foosworld's banner or coverage, won't that start perking their curiosity?? (I mean the men & women in black who can make life really complicated at the worst of times?)
