A Successfull 2007 South Florida Foosball Championships

It was great to see all the support from our local players, the traveling Florida players, and the many players from out of state. We were really fortunate to have such a great group of players participate in the tournament as things couldn't have been any better in that regard. Thanks for your support and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. We really look forward to seeing all of you down here again next year.

Also, I want to say a well deserved thanks to those who helped make this happen (I'm still a bit worn out from the event so I apologize in advance for those I forgot to mention)... Jeff Maddux and Grace, Mary Moore (and family), Ben Kennon, Charles Mackintosh and Jason Boone, Cheryl Marinaro and Jeff Kobal, and especially all the players who really made this a success. Oh, also Brian Costello for helping to clean the tables =).

This was my first tournament outside of our local Jacksonville weekly and I'll admit I was a bit nervous going in. I can safely say that my apprehensions were unwarranted, because I ended up having a ball. Taking home first in beginner doubles might have something to do with it *high five chris*, but I really enjoyed myself.
