128 and 256 Team Charts

Discussion, suggestions and help regarding NetFoos Tournament Software, Online Statistics and Local Foosball Forums.

Thanks to Chris from Ottawa helping with adding the 128 and 256 team charts we are close to having those complete. The 128 team chart is fairly close to complete and is in the final testing phases, the 256 team chart shouldn't be too far behind.

Chris is also adding some unique "shake n bake" charts which should be a lot of fun for pro/am style tournaments. I'll post more as these charts make it out of testing mode.

Thanks for your help Chris!

Mark, we're adding a shake n bake format in J-ville. It's based on one half of the bracket being a DYP and the other half being a byp. The idea is for each half to be locked in for 3rd or better. If there are too many teams on either side, the strongest DYP or the weakest BYP teams can be shifted. Is this what you're basing your shake n bake on?

Yes, that sounds how Chris explained it. We are still testing the charts, but initially you will need to manually place the players in the charts as I won't have the automated random chart generation part done for these until a bit later.

You guys got it right. We use the shake n bake charts for both shake n bakes as well as when we have a 50/50 split of pro ams at our DYP. We put the pros on one side and the amateurs on the other. We charge a little extra on the pro side so we can pay out to 4th. It works well when we do it that way as the pros and amateurs get competitive matches and everyone has fun. That way you don't get some newbie feeling bad that he is letting down his pro-master partner.

I drew up diagrams of how all the charts criss cross. It should be up in the next few days.
