Hey Guys:
How do local points work? I have set the initial local points. Does the system automatically adjust the points for you? Or do I have to do this manually.
I want to try and keep track of local points so I can rate Rookies who don't travel.

Hi Chris,
The local points is currently simply a numeric placeholder where you can manually enter player point rankings. Eventually it will be tied into the NetFoos Elo system where you can automatically update the local points after the tournaments. Let me know if you want to play around with the Elo system and I'll enable the testing version on your account.
Also, it currently allows you to use the random draws for "hi/low" tournaments where it will place the hi/low the players based on their local points.

Hook me up.
I'll beta test that for you. It will be good practice if TSAC decides to give it a try.

I've activated it on your account, here is a link to a post that describes how to access it (see my first post in the topic there). If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

| Thanks Mark this is very cool is there a way to update the local points with this info. Also it would be cool if the players could see where they rank localy. |

Hi Daniel,
The next step is the automatic updating of the "local points" at the click of a button. Right now the only way to do it is to manually input each player's revised local points based on the Elo generated list. Eventually I'd like to make the player list sortable by "local points" (or any of the other points) so that players can see where they rank compared to each other. Still a little ways off, but it is on the to-do list =).
