Good idea for tournament directors/ promoters

Here in Jacksonville we decided that if each player pays an extra $1 on top of their entry fees we could put it to good use. We have saved nearly $500 dollars over the past few months and are going to form a nonprofit players association. The players association will help to promote foos on a larger scale. We also use a small amount of the collected funds to buy new balls every so often. Nothing worse than playing with grease balls!

ya, this has been great especially since the tables were owned by a vendor who didn't give a damn. Chris, I was just thinking now that the tables are owned by Mike maybe we could start using that money for more player related issues like end of the season tournament/banquet or something like that. You know so even the guys who don't win that much get something too.
