when I'm creating a chart a name is in that list that has been deleted from my players list.
to explain further, i had a player come to a dyp but i lost the sheet of paper that had his last name so i just used his first name last initial.
he didn't show up for a few weeks and when he came back i added him again by mistake but this time with his full last name.
after realizing my error i updated the chart that had the first entry to his new one with the full last name and deleted the entry with just the initial.
any thoughts? |

| Sounds to me like you should have just edited that players info instead of deleting the old one and adding the new one. You can do this from your Admin page. Just click on manage players then click on that players name to edit then save. |

yea but like i said i didn't realize until after the tournament that he was in 2 times both entries had participated in at least 1 tournament.
at that point i didn't think it would make a difference what one of the 2 i chose to keep as long as i changed the chart that had the soon to be deleted name with the new one. |

| i wanted to see if i could create a new player with the same name as the one i deleted, it said i couldn't because that name already existed |

Thanks for pointing this bug out, I belive Amy also mentioned this one a little while back. I have moved this to the top of my updates priority list and will get it fixed shortly (hopefully over the weekend).

i was wondering g if changes had been made to the software regarding this problem?
i just noticed i had a blank name show up in my money winnings leaders section and was wondering if this might be related. |

Hi Rob,
Not posted yet, but that is the first item on my list once I get into updating/modifying the source code again. I was hoping to have it done by now, but other foosball things have been taking up my foosball time these last few weeks. As for the question about the "blank" player in the money winning list, it looks like it is related.
