Quick run down on Nat so far

A place for Utah foosers to communicate and exchange

Postby nick on Wed Mar 28, 2007 1:09 pm

First of all I just can not thank you SL foosers enough for your more than generous donations. Nat went and her cone biopsy yesterday. During the examination the OBGYN did not feel any tumors. That is a very promising sign. At this point we are waiting for the results. This will give us a plan of attack. Then we should know if it has spread. And at what level she is at.
2nd of all the insurance got a letter from my lawyer, they agreed to pay 70 %. Which is fantastic. Besides the copays They will have to take payments. The Huntsman center has been absolutely awesome to work with. And we feel great with our Dr. also. So for now everything is moving forward and I will keep you up to date as we find out.
Again I can not thank you enough

We got the results the other day. They found a string of cancer. So Nat will be going in for a what they call a radical Hysterectimy (Damn I wish we had spell check). On April 26th. Its very extensive she will be down about 8 weeks. And then we will find out if it has spread anywhere else. I just want to thank everybody again. And ask for prayer and positive thoughts as we go thru this as a family.
God bless
and thank you again

A quick run down on Nat. She had surgery (the 26th) I just brought her home yesterday ( Monday 30th) she is in a lot of pain but at least she is home. We don't know for sure if they got all the cancer. But the original diagnoses looks promising. They are examining her lymphnoids, that will be the real indicater if it had spread or was isolated into the woom area.

Today we found out that the surgery was a complete success, there is no more cancer. But she had to have the incission thru her stomach. She has developed a severe infection. We've brought her home, but I have to change her dressing twice a day. It is really gross to pull out all the guaze, and then I have to repack it twice a day. The incission is 7"s deep by 9"s wide. But it is slowly getting better.
Once this is healed I'll be back with a vengance. I practice 2 to 3 hours aday. And that includes shooting a real series from the nets. And really hard on my 5.
And I will be coming with a vengence escpecially for you guys, Steve Mori, Teddy Sprouce, Mike Sierra, and most of all Steve "Fn R" (lol).
Nat and I miss everybody. Oh and a happy mothers day to the "MOTHER of Salt Lake Foos Lorraine"
Thank you again for everything you guys did.

Nick,

That is fantastic news regarding Natalie! Give her a big squeeze for me - not too hard, don't hurt her.

We miss you too, Nick. Looking forward to having you back to play.
