Was there one really tough match that seems to propel you or give you momentum? One that you look back on and say if we hadn’t won that one things could have turned out very different?

T-MAC: Oh sure. With the format this year, you had little or no time to build momentum. There were only very good teams in that 64 team chart. I remember one match that felt like it could have gone either way. It was against Lee McClure and Steve Mori. I had never played against Lee before. He's definitely got game, and he was fired up and bringing it. He was very aggressive and very loud. I mean really screaming! Had me rattled for a bit. That match really got us fired up though. We finished strong, and I think that match really set things in motion for us. Of course, the winners bracket match against Rue and Steward was very important too. We had watched these guys playing, and they were red hot! But, we had a plan of how we wanted to approach all of our matches, and things just seemed to work out.

Nat and I watched this match holding our breaths all the way. Lee was lighting up TMAC. The match was really close and Lees vocal chords where in prime shape, you could tell it was getting to Gummy. We were laughing in the third game. When Gummys hands were shaking so bad because he was getting rattled by Lees agressive play and constent yelling after each point he scored. Gummy had to call a time out to regroup. So Lee promptly steals the ball and smokes TMAC with a spin straight to win the game. It was a great match that could have gone either way. I was glad to have watched that match in person because it was a lot of fun.
Way to go Lee and Steve it was a blast and it is great to see somebody from SL getting recognition from such a great team.
