We all have unique ways of responding and those who help us have unique ways of getting points across. What or who has inspired you?
I think's it's only been about a year and a half since I started back playing after my 23 year hiatus, but during that time I would have to say first it would be Mike Sierra for giving me a jump start and convincing me to jump in, not to mention his ever positive words and belief in me. I would also have to say Steve Mori for always pointing out the positive while still pointing out areas for improvement which accompany specifics on what to do. I'm truly thankful for his willingness to come to my house and work with me giving me just what I am able to absorb for where I am. He has a very generous spirit and his analytical skills are most impressive. Third, I would say Rick Martin. Rick, amazingly enough, has kept in contact with me via email from the first time I met him. Each time I see him he watches, observes, takes an interest, and seems to know exactly what I need to do. Each time I see him I have a new specific thing to practice, or I get a very useful tip via our email contact. He is another very generous spirit for which I am truly grateful.
Honestly, I find something inspiring in just about everyone I've played with and many I haven't played with. Darlene and Cassadie's determination and willingness despite their newly entering the tournaments to give it all they've got. I really like that! The way Tammy took second in Vegas with Rick, that rocked. Tommie, what a blocker! Teddy, wow, he's cool, in more ways than one. Lot's of players with lot's of heart. I could go on and on. I've received so much from so many of you, now if I could apply it all.....working on that.
