Pretty amazing how this icon died. The odds of this happening th'way it did are soooooo remote.
Stingray "stings" are RARELY fatal and generally only hurt really bad. In some cases the person "stung" can become ill from the poison. But death? HARDLY EVER!
If he'd only been "stung", he'd be wrestling crocs t'day at th'zoo ... but the barb pierced the skin BETWEEN ribs and went straight into his heart!
