Suggestion/Question:

How would people point their current domain name to a net foos site? Eg "www.MystatesFoos.com" -> "www.netfoos.com/mysite/home" (open a port? register/cookie?)

I think netfoos is great. I have seen so many sites fail because they are not maximizing their resources, or they simply just suck. NetFoos nails it, and I am wondering why more dont use it. (Or as I hope, I am at the begining of he cusp as it ramps up)

As far as the points, it seems easy to allow sites to control their custom rankings... which will only promote sharing of their site rankings... which will eventually lead to then end all of end all, when we are all on the same ranking system.... then we enter the matrix and die... Rolling Eyes

The easiest way I know is through your domain registrar. Typically, there is a feature called Domain Forwarding (or something along those lines) where you put in the URL of the webpage where you want the domain to go to. This is usually a free service once you purchased the domain name.

As far a NetFoos growing, currently we are in the "ramping up" stage as you mentioned and there are now a few regular users (averaging a tournament or two per day). Most of the new users come in through word of mouth. Chase, our first user from Ohio, really helped us out initially by letting lots of people know about NetFoos. Down the road we will likely do some advertising, but for now new users typically come in through current users telling them about NetFoos.

I'm glad you like NetFoos so far and I look forward to adding in new features in the months/years ahead. If you have any other questions about the domain stuff, please let me know.
